Only one big-time school has done that in recent years, and it was Alabama with Nick Saban.
I know Petrino went to Arkansas, but he quit with the Falcons. I doubt that scenario repeats itself.

Prior to meeting ESPN reported about contact, etc. and ran with it. (That never happens anymore
) Bama powers that be were pissed and meeting never occurred because AD assumed the leak to the media had come from Rich Rods side.
May be like who broke up with who back in Jr. high...who cares really.
But that is the explanation I heard our AD give.
However it happened, we are both better off for it.

I find it strange that Miles is not even on there, especially considering some of the other names on the list. I know one thing, Tom Benson is not getting out his checkbook just because Sean Payton's name is on there.

They added Tomlin for racial reasons. Just like most jobs these days, have to atleast interview a minority.
