"no resolution, as some have already begun tweeting. Athletic Director David Brandon and LSU head coach Les Miles did meet in Baton Rouge tonight, with Brandon returning to Willow Run airport in Ypsilanti just before 11:00 p.m. Sources tell us there was no deal made one way or the other, so expect this to drag on for at least another day. Miles is set to address the AFCA with a speech in Dallas tomorrow. There is a team meeting scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Schembechler Hall."

What I get from that is, if Miles says yes - new staff. If Miles says no - new staff under Hoke. Either way, that's the order. It's up to Les now.

Sounds like Brandon gave Les a deadline by sometime tomorrow, with Hoke ready to accept if Les doesn't. Maybe the dealine is noon, leaving just enough time for Hoke to get on a plane and be at the meeting.

Yes it could be Hoke as well. I doubt they would need much to convince him, Just a quick call get your azz over here. Will depend if Hoke's ego gets on the way since Mich went to all these other guys before getting to him but doubt he would too, would be stupid of him to decline. Then again reports were that Miles would accept if offered so

Won't they need to get ready for a new staff sometime by the end of the week anyway, regardless if it's Miles, Hoke, or someone else? Not really news to hang your hat on. If he would have told the athletic department to get ready for a press conference tomorrow afternoon, then we'd have something.

i'm of the belief that brandon's first order of business was to get a "yes" from hoke, or at least hoke's people
then went on to harbaugh and les with hoke basically in his back pocket
