You know Utah St., Will at the very least reach out to Dave Aranda to see if he wants to coach there.

I'm sure they could hear Dave laughing at the idea of taking that job

Todd Orlando was also a DC there.

Wells made under 1 million there. I could see Aranda taking a paycut for a HC job but something better than that.

Have no idea what to think. But he seems ok

They have the 2nd highest rated class in the conference if I'm not mistaken

We need to snatch up David Yost while they're being plundered.

Fire Kingsbury for Matt Wells?

What the hell are these AD's doing?

Kingsbury isn't a good head coach. He had a losing record overall and was 19-35 in the Big 12. If he looked like any random coach nobody would talk about him. Tommy Tuberville was barely trying in Lubbock and he did just as well.

I would have gone after Luttrell but I like Wells.

I don't disagree but hire someone better if you are firing him, especially being an alumni. Wells has like a 3-25 record against teams with a winning record.

From what I read, the consensus seems to be USU is going after Jay Hill from Weber State

Texas Tech has now announced the hire adding that offensive coordinator David Yost and defensive coordinator Keith Patterson are both expected to join Wells in Lubbock.

Mike leach made Tech look like a lot easier job than it is.

Yeah but beat 3 non-conference nobodies, Kansas, Iowa St, and Baylor ain't the toughest task in the world. Steal one more conference game and you're at 7 wins. Kliff did that once in 5 years.

Losing to Baylor was pretty much the last straw for him. Still, I don't see how bringing an out of state guy with .500 record in is an upgrade.
