Stoops met with FSU officials in Cincinnati

While Stoops chose to remain at UK, a second source shared that his assistants spent extensive time on the phone with prospective recruits to inform them the staff would remain intact before the news broke.

He would be an enormous upgrade over Taggart.

They are gonna interview more than just those they have at the top of the list. I like Mark, but he realized he's a fallback plan

He would be an extremely underwhelming hire for FSU.

He'd be the guy fans would want before Odell if it comes to that

I don't want either one , but I would take Odell over Mark Stoops.

Odell would be a lot cheaper.

One thing I think a lot of people aren't aware of with FSU(I wasn't either till recently). FSU is very, very close to being put in serious trouble because of their APR issues. They are very...very close to being forced onto probation. One of the lowest rated APR's in the nation.
