Can't trust coaches, but this is good to hear.

Also, Scott Farmer said we're working on an extension with Hud and if things go as planned, he'll be the highest paid coach in the conference. Should be around $700,000

He also put on twitter that he's done interviewing for all jobs he was a candidate for and no one hired him so he's stuck in Lafayette for another year.
PR made him take it down.

a friend of mine's dad is way up in the ragin cajun ring of athletics, and he said last week Hud was very close to accepting the coaching job at Tulane. but after sharing the news with his wife, she threw a raging fit and threatened to leave him. he then removed his name (for now) from all the open jobs and is done interviewing.

Think that is his babysitter. HUDs wife is in his avatar. She is about 12 years younger than HUD and was a cheerleader at north Alabama when he was a coach there. She is the reason, among others I am sure, that HUD divorced his first wife ..

Can't really fault him.

Hoping we can keep him at least another 2 years. Three good recruiting classes would be nice.
