Marcus Freeman will not leave ND for LSU. His wife/family does not like the idea of raising their family in Baton Rouge.
Also, he's no better than any other coaching candidates. If the goal is to hire a minority coach, just go with Shepherd and attempt to bring Saban in as AD.

I'm not head over heals for Freeman, but the man is light years ahead of Kelvin Sheppard in terms of viable candidates.

I live all of about 3 miles off of Notre Dame's campus so I have to breathe this shite all day every day.
I'll frick myself in the arse with a shampoo bottle if Freeman leaves ND for LSU. I think it would be an S-tier hire for LSU, but it ain't happening. He's well ingrained here.
