So...Napier heading to Florida, Aranda staying at Baylor, Fickell staying at Cincy, Franklin and Tucker signing huge extensions, and Jimbo adamantly denying any interest.
The majority of candidates this board has been discussing over the last month have suddenly, within the last few days, been removed from contention.
We better hope that Woodward gets this done, because if we get Herman'd or Freeman'd at the last minute, there may not be a lot of options left.
Edit - Florida 247 mods are saying the same thing. Napier the #1 choice, and they expect things to be done "quickly".

Other than Napier none of these things removes candidates from contention.

This sounds a lot like when Herman leaked going to lsu to force his way into Texas. The deal won’t be done before we ink someone. That’s why it’s “Saturday or Sunday.”

This. So many fricking drama queens here. Other than Tucker, because no one else will be willing to match the contract that MSU is giving him, everyone else is still a possibility. Extensions and unsigned contracts for raises don’t mean a thing except that these coaches now have insurance if someone doesn’t up their offer to them.
