They're doing this because of our success. They realize they need to do something drastic or they'll lose the whole state. Getting Saban is a checkmate on A&M.

Do you realize how many LSU connections are in Texas? Houston? The oil fields? The two states are very much connected and information flows freely.
So, I have no doubt that Chicken knows stuff. I have been on this site since 2006 and Chicken whacks unsubstantiated rumors quickly. When he weighs in, I listen because he is getting information off line.
Others here have that same ability.
Heck, even HSV-Tide or whatever (Earl) at Tidefans is admitting that it is happening.
Now, Saban was about to get on a plane to go coach the Chicago Bears in 2004. It was basically a done deal. He decided at the last minute to NOT do it.
He also had turned down Miami and was going to stay at LSU. Huizenga gets on a plane, comes to Baton Rouge, and basically begs him. He decides at the last minute to go.
This could still go either way. Only Saban knows. But, to act like nothing is happening is just silly, at this point.
It is clearly happening.

To be fair the site owner is a complete hypocrite considering
how tightly LSU based rumors have been moderated and this Bama rumor is stickied.

LSU fans were flaming the board before the Game of the century in 2011 and the moderators went nuclear.
At least tidefans doesn't have two sets of rules; one for LSU topics and one for non-lsu topics.
