Saban didn't have to worry about recruiting when he left us for Miami...if he leaves for Texas, he will want it to happen quickly so he can take inventory of current team, recruiting class, etc. this saga will be over by next week. Texas is recruiting him hard.

Saban is getting a big money raise, regardless of where he is coaching next year. I think it is a mistake for him to jump ship at this stage in his life. And he isn't guaranteed success at UT.

My guess is Saban was recruiting Zack Wary, a linebacker who was flying under the radar until he got rated a 4 star just a few days ago. There will be lots of planes flying to Rogers as Wary is getting in home visits from 3 schools today.
