Is Mack Brown refusing to step down? If so, how long until they fire him? I'm getting lost.

He's got a fifth of whiskey, some orange crush, and pilot held hostage just flying around so he can't meet with the administration.

For real, Mack has been recruiting and the meeting was pushed until the morning. Some are theorizing that Mack is just jabbing management in the ribs.

He keeps pushing back his resignation date, but he'll be gone soon enough. Saban is just waiting for Mac to make his formal announcement. Within a day or two after that Saban will be introduced as the new Texas coach.

Mack was still recruiting today...dudes on here said he would be gone Tuesday. He is not going anywhere. Saban is not going anywhere. Just a big ol' circle jerk the last 5 days. The climax is happening...and it's a disappointment for most.

It's just getting interesting, as we watch the UT drama unfold.

If by not giving a shite you mean posting a reply on this thread every two minutes for the past 3 days...then yeah I guess you don't give a shite.

It's this ignorance/arrogance of Bama fans that makes this all so funny. You can match the money, you've got the most history, you are the greatest all time, bla bla bla...... yet your fans are so unbearable that your coach is about to sneak out of town.

Especially if a soon to be fired football coach is about to stick it to the most "powerful donors" at UT.

If Monday rolls around and nothing has changed, then I'll believe Saban stays. Until then, Alabama should not feel comfortable and Texas will be a clusterfrick.

At this point I don't care who it is. But somebody bet get hired, fired, get amnesia and forget they are a football coach or something because I am legit addicted to flightaware right now.

Drunk Mack has them crammed in his mouth screaming at the pilot like Don Corleone. Meanwhile, Powers is praying Mack come to same end as the Don. So is the pilot held hostage.

ESPN is scrolling that Mack is meeting with Powers and Patterson tomorrow to discuss direction of the program, so am I missing something here?

Sounds like Bama posters are increasingly confident that Saban is staying, or it at least sounds like it in the last couple of pages I read.

Did seeing Saban at the Awards show cause this? Am I missing something?
