I'll believe that Saban is staying at Bama when the Texas job is filled - of course he could still take an NFL job, but then, flying monkeys could fly out of my arse.

Mac's dicking around has slowed the process, but it means nothing to Saban. He's just waiting until Mac is officially gone. Might be tomorrow, might be sometime next week. The fact that Saban hasn't signed his Bama contract is a sure sign that he is going to Texas. It's just a matter of timing.

by the way.. Mack was scheduled to meet a recruit in jasper, tx... plans changed and he was in jasper for exactly 13 minutes before heading back to austin... just enough time to fuel up?

Nope. Not enough time to get gas. But just enough time for Mack to land, get off the airplane, turn his cell on and get a message from Powers saying to get the frick back to Austin, and then look at the pilots and say "Fire it up boys, I'm gone, he gone, it's over."
