The college football award show is tonight.

You'd be surprised what you can find with publicaly available information. A search* on the Texas Secretary of State's website shows Saban was a partner with Beltway 8 Associates Limited Partnership and Sendero Associate Limited Partnership.
The Sendero entity was went under in 2009, and the only other partner was the esteemed Joseph T. Spinosa*. It's original registered office was at Brazos and 8th Street in Austin, Texas.
This is where it gets interesting. Sendero's registered office as the same address as a major public relations firm. Both the Chief Financial and Chief Revenue Officers both just happened to go to Texas. Even more conclusive is the fact that the CFO's own bio says he is "a fan of the Texas Longhorns."
Just connect the $#@!ing dots. Saban doesn't take a dump without a plan. He knew that real estate deals are risky and that Mack would inevitably get fired. So he formed his business in the exact right spot to allow (1) the money men behind a major Austin company to bail him out and (2) a PR firm to spin the narrative away from "Saban is a mercenary" to "Mack Brown is an infant."
You'd have to be blind to not see this.

Thanks. I know the LSU plane went there as well last night.

Another one of note. LXJ613, FlexJet flight, due to depart Kissemmee tonight headed to Tuscaloosa.
What time does the awards thing end?
Interesting - almost all of that plane's recent flights involved Florida.

He would have plenty of sources that would. When Terry talked about it this morning he said it was blown way out of proportion and you can't simply look at an investor's losses without looking at his gains.

I believe that is like NetJets - a fractional share program, so there's a high probability that none of those other flights are related to Saban (if this one even is either)

It's a fractional dude. It goes all over the country. It's just noteworthy because it is leaving Orlando after the awards show tonight and headed to T-town.
I don't know who's on it.

Again, why would Saban tell Bama people he was planning to leave? LSU folks didn't know for sure until the day of. He has experience in making these moves...

If this has any truth to it then this is a sick, calculating guy. Like not just on the football field, down to his core. What the actual frick.

I actually agree. If that's true (wishy washy at best), that would be some next level shite

LOL at Bama fans just now realizing this.
People don't like this man. He is not a good man at all. They put up with him and pay him handsomely because he wins a shitton of football games and is an amazing investment for any athletic department.

If anyone could think that far ahead, it would be Saban. Not sat I believe that completely, but more interesting coincidences.

quote:I'll answer. Shannon Terry, CEO of 247sports, is very connected within the sports world. He is also very connected to key people within the Bama program. He has more connections than most. He has told us several times Saban is not leaving and there has been #nochange in his status. How confident is Shannon Terry? Confident enough that he bet his entire office three months of free lunch if Saban leaves Ttown. Shannon Terry has posted what he is hearing. So long as his confidence is firm, mine is as well. If he falters, then I will, too. Flame away.
Then why is the new Bama contract not signed? just askin.
