7-10 yr deal around $1mill a year for mack to literally do nothing. Must be nice.

Mack's wife would beat him over the head if he didn't take that deal

I think he gone.

The negotiating ploy thing has gone on too long to just be about getting Bama to pay more.

Saban: Hey, AJ...just between you and me, I've had enough. I'm pulling the ripcord on this hellhole and heading for greener pastures. And I do mean greener. You should see what these Texas shitekickers are paying me.

AJ: Ummm....

Saban: Oh, almost forgot. Don't tell anyone. Not even your hot mom.

AJ: OK, coach.

Can we get a poll on the guys in this thread on what they think?

A lot of people are starting to believe. I'll keep a tally.

Saban is gone or staying?

Up until today, I was thinking he was staying put. Now legitimate Texas insiders are putting their credibility on the line and even giving a timeline for when Saban will be announced as head coach. These guys aren't taking it that far without a real reason to believe it.

I'm not ready to say he gone but I absolutely believe now that something is going on behind the scenes. I have no doubt that Saban is at the least talking with them more seriously than playing it for a Bama raise.

Either this McPhaul guy is full of it or he was there/or very close for some of the negotiations

Based on histone, I;m going with the latter

The "done deal for 6 weeks" is what makes me pause about their reports.

These guys are saying that they are confident in their sources and they would need to go in the witness protection program if they're gone.
