but this guy has a Texas radio show and trusts him so a bit more credence

In fairness, the reason Saban hasn't said anything is likely because anything he does would be construed as him going to Texas, so there's no gain from saying anything.

If he says "I'm going to Texas," people will believe it without questioning it.

If he says "I'm staying at Alabama," people will think he's lying after the Miami-to-Alabama thing.

So he might as well not say anything... it'll either be misreported or a lie.
