Florida fans are pretty okay with Spurrier at SCar
SC is a lesser program (as opposed to equal) and Spurrier accomplished far far more at UF than he did at SC.

And I would think they have a much much much bigger reason to be angry
A few years after spurrier they found someone to win twice as many titles as spurrier did and bring home another Heisman.

I don't know how much of a boom it is that Mack Brown is leaving. We all kind of saw that coming.
He's not getting replaced by Nick Saban. It doesn't make any sense.

Really? Finebaum?
Ok, since he's reliable. You asked for it.
Paul Finebaum says he'd stake entire career on Saban not going to Texas

Saban going to arguably the best coaching job in CFB doesn't make sense?

Saban leaves Alabama for the NFL
Comes back to college after one year and becomes the coach at Tennessee or Auburn and proceeds to win 3 NCs at those schools while beating Alabama in one of them...
Yea, everything would be perfectly fine in Tuscaloosa

Answer the question.
You would be absolutely 100% FINE with my scenario, right?
You guys couldn't handle Franchione leaving for A&M with class and he didn't win shite.

and this. it really doesn't make sense. I'm sure they'll have some splashy name hired, but I just don't see how its Saban.

He's already at arguably the best coaching job in CFB. Texas just adds headaches to that.

For the most lucrative contract in CFB history. Yeah, why would he do that?
