So he's called out a divided fan base, then thanked the fans for not being rude, he backhanded the media by insinuating they were unprofessional & unethical then said he may ask one of them to help him write a book - yeah he ain't to happy about this.

At the meeting, Mack was told that it was his decision. Powers and Patterson expected him to offer resignation because of what they had been hearing from those close to him. This appears to have been a miscalculation, and Mack decided to stay. Powers thought that Mack might decide to resign anyway, but according to Bobby, Mack was set on coming back. Bobby writes that Chip Brown went "nuclear" and accused Powers of being in "cahoots" with Mack, which led to Powers hearing things from BMDs. Powers then scheduled a meeting with Mack yesterday around noon and made it clear he needed to step down. Bobby writes that Mack did not retire, but was forced out.
