Anyone who says Al Golden is a good recruiter is high. He is a terrible recruiter.

But he is a clean recruiter.

Penn Stater Al Golden would be a great hire, he was the nation's youngest dc *@ UVA before turning Temple around

Rivals must be smoking some good weed. They had his class #9 in the nation last year.

Dude has no clue in-spite of Miami's uncertain future Golden reeled in a top ten recruiting class

First, you forgot the rest of my quote when I said
quote:
The guy was already starting to pull interest from top Louisiana recruits
Second, please tell me what is so amusing?
The guy gets Artie Burns, a player LSU is currently trying to flip, Standish Dobard (offers from Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU, Florida), and more or less led for Tim Williams until LSU gave up on him. Not to mention legit interest from 2014 OL Garrett Brumfield.
Plus the guy just came off a Top 10 class.
All this while Miami is still trying to rebound from their worst era in the last three decades, and still has more sanctions on the way. I'd love to hear more than emoticons.

He signed 35 or so kids. At UM and you sign that many kids, you should be #1.

You guys will see soon enough if Golden sticks with Miami. Dude can recruit and coach. He stays with Miami through the probation, which won't last that long considering this is year 2 of the self imposed postseason bans and he is holding back schollies this year, he will make Miami good again.

I'm still trying to figure out if your post was a rebuttal or a cool story. I'll just assume the latter and tell you to re-read my post.

You wanted to brag about him having an irrelevant top 10 class. You named a couple kids that LSU isn't interested in or wasn't because of whatever reasons. Your logic is heavily flawed.

Rivals is showing that artie burns plays hs ball in miami and dobard is a three star te and lsu already has a commitment from a higher ranked la te.

Ok, now this is worth a
First:
- Garrett Brumfield is at the top of our board and 247 has him as the #1 Guard in the country.
- Tim Williams (#2 DE) was the Top DE we were targeting until like a week ago.
- Standish Dobard had offers from everyone, including us, and Golden got him to commit early.
Second:
You "laugh" at the idea Golden is a good recruiter, then the facts are brought up that in a program that was administrative and athletic dumpster fire:
- Golden brought in a Top 10 class that included a #1 RB and a #1 Corner.
- Either has commits from or is in the Top 5 of several big time recruits that other big time schools have offered (see above).
And the only thing you say to save face at the fact that your weak opinion of Golden is baseless is that he signed a bunch of guys so that count?
GTFO. Your obvious disdain for your rival is obvious.

Kindly shut the frick up. I don't have a clue? I have to deal with Miami fans all the time and I revel in their failures.
An average star rating of 3.21 compared to Texas A&M being ranked 20th in ratings with a 3.3 average.

DeSean Smith was always a high priority.
Again, Dobard has offers from
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
