I think—and hope—Canada leaves. He could not be more “meh.”

I know If Jimbo leaves FSU that Orgeron is going to make a run at Odell Haggins for DL coach. It would be interesting to see if he would leave his alma mater for better money.

The rumor going around was that the meeting with the AD was about wives getting into fights and the drama effecting the staff cohesiveness. The on field problems were a mirror of the off field drama supposedly.

Who knows what really happened.

Canada isn’t walking away from that contract. No one else is going to pay him that kind of money.

Are you serious? The LSU coaching staff is having a "petticoat affair" going on?

I was told that too, Just didn't post it earlier. Heard the wives really like to drink and there was an epic Cat fight during the MSU game.

I wouldn't miss him if he wanted to leave. There ARE other offensive coordinators.

Hopefully down the road we get a tell-all like we had with Skip Bertman last year on the radio.

If he leaves go get briles jr. He knows daddy’s system and Has been scheming offense with Lane kiffen. Those two together I imagine has some creativity on offense and Briles would kill it with Lsu athletes imo.

I bet he’s gone before the bowl game

I'll be pumped to see toss dives in the bowl game if this is true. I think he'll stick around for another year or two

If Canada does in fact bolt after this season we are screwed. You can't be successful with a revolving door of OCs.

Installing another offense next year after it took a while for this one to get going would be highly problematic. Then we have to account for Orgeron sticking his nose in and trying to modify the next OC's offense too.

Of course Coach O doesn't want to have a DL coach. That is where LSU hires their head coaches from. No DL coach = Coach O stays forever.

Which is my main gripe about the whole “hiring elite coordinators to cover O’s deficiencies” plan. It’s not a recipe for long term success, especially with a less than mediocre HC.

Canada wants out! He and O can't stand each other. his wife also doesn't like living in Louisiana. I'd be surprised if he coaches the bowl game.

I love the "insiders" on here.

How do you know his wife doesn’t like Louisiana?

As Yankees there must be some culture shock and I would hate to deal with the traffic in BR but for $1.5 million a year she could hire a chauffeur.
