If Jenkins moves to the shadow staff and coach o decides to coach the dline himself. Who does coach o hire?

He already said he will the special teams coach from the saints when the ncaa grants it

If Pete retires, if I were Coach O, my first call would be to Bo Davis, UT-San Antonio DL coach. I know he had the lil hiccup with the NCAA recruiting deal. He says he has learned his lesson. And DL wouldn't miss a beat with him. Excellent coach and recruiter. JMO

If Coach O decides to coach the DL himself, well he will have a spot open for another hire. The most glaring weakness to me on this team is QB development. That is the "elephant" in the room. Also, I don't see development from our WR group.

Canada wants out! He and O can't stand each other. his wife also doesn't like living in Louisiana. I'd be surprised if he coaches the bowl game.

If this is true, and I know I'll get roasted for this, I would hire Briles in a second, pay him $750K a year. You get a great OC and QB coach wrapped in one. Take your hits from he media, everybody will forget when LSU is throwing up 50 points a game.

How do you know his wife doesn’t like Louisiana?

Canada is NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Canada next move will be as a HC somewhere. IMO, he needs to establish himself here before getting that HC offer he desires.

Talked to buddy that's close with someone in the athletic dept. I know, sauces...sauces!! But he said that meeting with Joe wasn't pleasent. Basically, O and Canada cant stand each other. Also noted that Canadas wife doesn't like living in La.

A lot of time and wins since that meeting. People close to the program expect him back. I’m not a huge fan of Canada but he has 3 million reasons to stay, and he isn’t gonna get that anywhere else.

If Canada leaves again after a one year stop, people will question his loyalty since it’d be his third team in three years and moving on once again. That doesn’t look good regardless of on field results.

Does she even live in Louisiana? Coach Canada's Twitter shows his son is still playing high school football in North Carolina.

I doubt momma Canada would leave her son alone to finish high school. I'm assuming she has still been in N.C with their son.

No matter what, Canada is unlikely to get as prominent or as high paying job. He may not like it, but I think he likely stays at least one more year.

Canada is nomadic, got into a fight with O, and was handcuffed early in the season. I bet he’s gone before the bowl game.

I heard exactly the same. Canada was apparently pushed onto O, and O didn’t really want him. Alleva told O to either get rid of Canada, or let him do what he’s being paid $1.5 mil to do.

That’s his ex-wife and kids. He’s engaged to some other girl, don’t think they’re married yet.
