Any line coach can coach a line to block straight ahead. Just block the man over you and hope they can dominate. In pass blocking our line steps back instead of making contact first. This allows the DLmen a head start and is almost in the backfield before contact. It breaks the pocket down quick not that a pocket is something our QB's know from our coaching.

Maybe because they cant cross the line of scrimmage?
Oh and by the way, Stud and Crowton need to go

Miles could be successful at LSU for a long time if he replaces Crowton and "his" gimmicky spread offense with more of a pro-style offense that Miles wants to run and becomes more of a CEO style head coach. He needs to bring in people he can trust. I would love for him to "get the band back together" by bringing back Monken and Henson.

The offense needs to return to more of a Pro-Style system.
1) Steve Logan (good QB coach, rumors were going around that he was the front-runner if he replaced Crowton last year)
2) Todd Monken (IMO, the best position coach LSU has had in a long time. Miles trusts him. Was heavily involved in all of Miles successful offenses in the past. Was heavily, heavily involved in the success of the offense at the end of the 2006 season, he was basically running the offense. Miles should have promoted him instead of hiring Crowton.)
3) Mark Whipple (now available, good friends with Ruffin Rodrigue)
4) Dirk Koetter
5) Greg Knapp
6) Rob Chudzinski
7) Clint Conque


While he is at it, Miles needs to replace the OL coach.
1) Josh Henson (bring back the right-hand-man, clock manager)
2) Kevin Mawae
3) Pete Mangurian
4) Ben Wilkerson (promote him)
