That is all I hear. If that is the case, then why can't we keep any coaches longer than 3 to 5 years? I'd LOVE to have a coach that is willing to stay as long as Dale Brown did. I know, I know, he lost it toward the end, but damn he went to 2 Final Fours at a school that is NOT a basketball school.

We need LONG TERM stability to stay on top like some of the other schools.

Saban to the NFL and LES going back home. Not that hard to figure out.

John Brady? Is he looking to go anywhere?

Hell, I bet Curley, Dinardo, and Archer would have been happy sticking around as well.

The Bear is dead, in reality and in concept.

I'd rather have a good coach for 3-5 years than one that can barely win a game with the nation's best recruits. Shaq, Roberts and Chris Jackson losing in the first round of the NCAA's? Continuity for continuity's sake is overrated.

As long as we keep bringing in quality coaches who can follow the blueprint of success at LSU, i don't care.

LSU will always be here. LSU benefited from Saban and Miles.

To tell you the truth, the rest of the SEC doesn't want Miles to leave b/c they are worried who LSU might get.

I'm frustrated, too. But the last two (assuming Miles is indeed gone) have been under unusual situtations.

Saban is a horse's behind, but in the man's defense Miami opened the bank and basically gave him complete control of a pro franchise.Miles played and coached for one of college ball's most storied programs.

If one of these guys had left LSU for another SEC school (from LSU) or gone to Texas Tech or Georgia Tech,I'd be pretty ill.

Amen to that. Coaches nationwide should have a major stiffy to come here with the talent we have.

RP, KW, CS, TH in a 08 version of a wishbone. Who the hell would want to coach against that, especially with no film to study?
