How hard should they work to keep him? Honestly, since 2007, we haven't had a sniff of a SEC west title. His recruiting is good, but not great when you consider he failed to put a SEC quality qb on this team for three years.

I'm not saying to get rid of Miles, but I also don't believe we should throw the bank at him. If Miles leaves, LSU will survive it.

this is the first year in 3 he's earned that big paycheck. 9 losses the previous 2 years is mediocre at best. we got exactly (this year) what we pay for.

My thoughts as well. Miles doesn't deserve any more. If Alleva throws the bank at him to keep him from Michigan I will be pissed. He isnt worth more than he gets now. Let him go if he wants more.

What's his email? You should mention to him Malzahn.

I like Weems he emailed me back when I complained about Miles and his epic meltdown in the Tenn. game.

Weems isn't on the board anymore, right? Not just president, but not even a member? I doubt he has much say in the coaching decisions these days.

"Well, we tried" complete w/ PR leaks to save face. CYA 101. Michigan is going to do the same thing.

First thing that crossed my mind. We must be very cynical.

you have to manage through the ebb and flow of college football, big contract won't eliminate that. Bama isn't paying their coach to finish 4th in the West.

If Miles says anything about more money they should let him go in a second. I want him to stay, but he isn't worth the money to keep him.

Is there also a rebellion brewing against people that post unfounded rumors?
That would kill the Recruiting Board
