One thing is for sure:
Class and integrity will always remain a top priority at LSU. That's awesome and I pray it turns into success in the win column. The fans that lack it will show it through their words in responding to the new Coach.

I'm not going to lie-he's not "my kind of guy" and he is "my kind of guy". Just like Saban and Les before him. You never get exactly what you want as a fan. You get who they give you, you recognize your humble place in The Universe as a fan, and you support your team. Sometimes it works out beyond anything you deserve (Alabama) sometimes it doesn't (Tennessee). I like Coach O at this particular time in LSU history. Having had a painful business investment failure in my own life, I know how that can change you and spur you on to greater success. Was he my top choice? No he wasn't. Is there a perceptible upside that is likely to surprise the Catastrophe Syndrome crowd? Absolutely. I think it pays immediate dividends that will be obvious in the bowl game and recruiting and carry into hiring/Spring ball and the 2017 season and beyond.
