Reminds me of Stovall's last year. He was able to bring in Mack Brown his 3rd year and give him a saving point and when Brown packed it in and went to Oklahoma as Offensive Coordinator, Stovall couldn't buy a vowel as some other poster had referred to Sumlin before he got Chavis? anyway Stovall had to resort to Morris Watts because he couldn't get anybody else to come here and the end of that 4th season was the end of Jerry Stovall as Coach at LSU.

Unless something like like Les just planned on promoting his BFF Brick from the start, so he had to play the game for a little while, and then after he "exhausted LSU's options" he could just promote his buddy

Did everyone not see how bad Mike Smith was as a head coach? Maybe he isn't cut out for head coach duties and could be a good coordinator in college but he is a bonehead.

Are yall really laughing because Mike Smith had a bad season with the falcons? I'm pretty sure you should be laughing because 5 minutes after losing the Penn state DC, people are throwing out the name of a veteran NFL head coach.
