Jordy said it best on his emergency show last night.
Also collects Jordans as a 38 year old man and looks like the prototypical MSB regular.
I was initially underwhelmed but have come around like many on here. We dodged a bullet on multiple levels baws, give me the old Irish mick that doesn't take shite

I agree with you. It’s looking more and more like we dodged a bullet with Riley. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with the SEC.

I caught Jordy's show for the first time last night, he and his co-host do a lot of shite talking about other people's physical appearance...which really puzzled me considering the co-host's head looks like a pencil eraser with headphones

I was always a little uneasy with Riley. I was Aranda or Rhule guy. But I like Kelly over Riley.
Riley doesn't fit the toughness of what LSU is, not too mention the toughness of the fans and people.
Kelly might not fit in culture but he is respected and is tough and expects a lot out of his players.

Riley had major underlying issues that we hoped he would fix in the near future. When it was announced who all he was taking to USC, and was keeping the status quo, I knew he would never win a National Championship at OU or anywhere in the future. There was a lot of rot going on inside the OU program.

I never liked him to begin with, and I got downvoted alot for the last few weeks because I tried to tell it.
I can't hold it against the board though, because I live in OU country and I've had overexposure to Riley for years, something Louisiana baws were fortunate to not have had to endure.
I'm just glad everybody sees it now.
Stoops handed the reigns over to Lincoln on the promise that Lincoln would not do exactly what he just did- abscond for another school. The OU brass and admin were completely caught off guard by how hosed they got.
Lincoln is a good offensive coach but he hasn't improved the program at OU, period. He's merely a continuation of Stoops. That's not bad but it's not good either, if you're honestly trying to reach the top. He had a chance to prove he could run with the big boys in the SEC, and he ran away to the Left Coast instead. He'll make bank out there and win 10-12 games a year but that'll be good enough even when the SEC still rapes his nostrils in the playoff.
But he's just not a true top coach. A really good one, but he's got a lot to learn. Burning the bridges to those who made him who he is, is a major miscalculation that will come back to haunt him.
