If OU wins then also beats OSU again in the Big 12 championship then OU will get in the playoffs. Riley won't walk out on OU in the middle of that. And even if he would, what would that say for his character? He cares about his image. He's not the type to be a quitter. In the meanwhile, Woodward's B, C and D head coach options are out there with other schools trying to lock them down as their current or new head coach. Scott will have to strike fast out of necessity for the program. He's paid not to make the mistake of Riley telling him, "I can't leave until OU loses," and then say, "That's fine. We'll wait." Lincoln can't walk away during that and Scott can't wait past SSunday.Scott has to settle this right away. This affects recruits looking at what LSU does and how it handles itself.
This all hinges on if OSU beats OU or not.

Hope you're right! But we're certainly still worried. I mean damn it's extremely hard to imagine Riley totally double-crossing Woodward, and it's hard to fathom all this Riley smoke AND FIRE being completely perpetrated by his agent trying to get more $$$$ out of OkieU; but we still cannot relax - not yet.
