Is dantonio a legit candidate? I don't want to spend the time doing it for every Tom, dick and Harry that someone names.
The list I comprised is from the Vegas odds, plus I added Mullen. Think his name will begin to get tossed around if we begin to feel jimbo and Herman are off the table.

What about Dantonio? Is it possible to steal him away from Michigan State?
I doubt it, he's already 60. And do you want more run-first football out of the I-formation?

He can beat Saban
Saban beat him 49-7 and 38-0 in the only two games they coached against each other, so I don't know what your basis for this statement is.

That's the #1 reason I don't want briles. I'm not worried about having a coach that doesn't have a perfect past. Second chance for a coach would be fine with me. If the new coach wins, all can be forgotten. I don't want a coach who is on the down end of his career though (unless Saban wants to retire here).

Yea that was a typo of some sort

It was a typo saying dantonio beat Saban? Do you know what a typo is?

Forgot about Wittingham at Utah. Good coach.

I agree... Potential dark horse candidate if it fails through with our A list guys. People would be pissed if that's who we got though.

we need a sticky for this thread or another thread like it. Need at least one thread where all the potential head coaches can be listed like we do on the recruiting board.

Gundy or Whittingham would both be solid choices.

Damn, that was typed on a phone? Pretty impressive work.
I doubt D'Antonio is a candidate. I think that's not worth the effort to type.

No brainer. Jimbo should be LSU's top target.
