Way easier to win at LSU than USC in this era.

24 hours ago he was someone capable of a dynasty. Now he will never win a NC. Same guy.
He just left a program that hasn’t won one in over 20 years for another one who hasn’t won one in 20 years. At least Oklahoma was winning their conference. USC has been horrible for over a decade.

If he strikes gold on the right QB sure he can.
Hmm like a Baker Mayfield or Kyler Murray clone?

Clearly doesn’t want it badly enough.

I'm not ready to say that he'll never win a title, and I'm not willing to say he's a bad coach just because he didn't choose LSU.
However, leaving OU for USC because he was afraid to compete in the SEC reveals something about his mental makeup as a competitor and leader that none of us were aware of until now.
It's definitely a data point worth remembering as we watch his career from this decision onward. He absolutely ran and hid from competing at the highest level in the toughest conference.
USC is a good job, and the Pac# is an okay conference, but everyone knows that the SEC is the show. He had his chance to star on the big stage (with either LSU or OU) and chose to hide. That choice is going to follow him ...

He's not leaving b/c hes afraid of the SEC. He's leaving b/c he's getting a shitload more money to coach in LA.
People pushing the he hated the idea of the SEC are just mad that he picked USC over their school be it OU or LSU and are looking for an excuse to feel better about being rejected.

Ok buddy. Believe what you want but he knew he couldn’t consistently win in the SEC. every time he’s faced an SEC opponent he’s gotten his arse kicked.

Never change.

Ask recruits about how much they care about championships won before they were even born. Then get back to me. I care nothing about what any football team was doing before it became such a profitable opportunity for schools and 90% of them were not even trying to win.
But carry on there buddy. Them “glory days” are sure find to remember old man.

Because there’s no difference in coaching at LSU and USC now in regards to what previous recent coaches have been able to accomplish...
Nope, none at all.
