Lincoln Riley was the Tom Herman 2016 of the 2021 coaching search

Young guys. The future. Tom Herman was 41. Lincoln Riley is 38. The guy everyone wanted and LSU was gonna get. Turns out he's a squirrelly guy and kind of a snake like Tom Herman. Lincoln Riley will win some games at USC but he'll show his arse while doing it.

Kelly is a different cat than those guys that’s for sure.
I’ve never particularly liked him in interviews but the man can coach and is exactly what we need to whip this program back into shape right now.

I don't know if he'll bust as bad as Tom Herman did. He'll win more games than that. But the stuff about basically recruiting guys he can easily switch to USC is messed up. The guy lacks character.
