Let's assume it is:

Daronte Jones - DC/Safeties
Raymond - CBs
Blake Baker - LBs (just for sake of thread)

We will get another position coach on defense and I assume that is at the DL coach position.

Who is on our wish list? I don't even know where to begin...

I don't think he would leave but I am a big fan of Coach Rasheed at Iowa St. Maximizes potential for avg guys so wonder what he could do with animals.

Googled and it appears he's Mississippi guy, but also played at Iowa and he's their DL coach/recruiting coordinator. Might be a tough pull, but I'd like it.

What about Jimmy Brumbaugh? Coached at LSU before, currently at UT. Strong recruiter.

HCs don't usually coach a position group and why do people care about saving money? It's not yours and going cheap now seems foolish since our DC will need experienced coaches around him.

Dumb.

Head coaches should, and usually do, give up position coaching roles unless it is the QB room. And we want as many recruiters/coaches as we can to help Daronte Jones get his sea legs.

O is suppose to be a top recruiter. What else is he good for? He's not a good X's and O's guy per the rant.

If they aren’t talking to Kelvin Bell, then they are doing it wrong.

i personally wouldn't mind moving Lacouture up. CEo himself said Lac was one of the main people talking with Ma'ason Smith.

It seems he already has the recruiting part down and he wore 18 (when it meant something) shows he was a true leader.

That probably won't be the route but I'm not opposed.

To make a move to LSU/SEC would be somewhat lateral. In order to step up to us and SEC competition he would have to be a BEAST between the ears! He's got it pretty good at Iowa so a move here would show great heart and belief in himself. How great would it be to have that kind of self-confidence and drive being taught to our young men!

Pruitt actually fired him midseason. But I remember hearing good things about him when he was here the first time.
