If it was strictly a bidding war he would be at Texas.

You seem very upset about 5omething. That's a lot of retarded hate built up over football.

I have news for you. We, as fans, don't fear shite from LSU. Keep telling yourself we do if it makes you feel better about being owned for so long, but it simply isn't true.

The thing is, yes he doesn't have much time left, but Saban could take next years team (if the jrs came back) and win the whole damn thing, so you pay 10 m and pretty much guarantee a championship next year

You're asking if I would make the decision to spend $10 million of someone else's money in order to get the best coach in America? Sure. A hundred million? Why not?

No one wants Saban. Plus, he'd never come here. Doesn't matter how much you offer him.

$12 million will get Terri Saban to convince him to move back to Baton Rouge.

Because money is an issue.

Nope. At this point I don't think he is worried about money... Especially since he has been here before.Saban built LSzu into a powerhouse before he left. He will not uproot from Bama to come back here and clean this mess up again. I see ZERO reason he would come back here. I see no upgrade for him. He is winning titles left and right at Bama. Why leave that???????

Whether he comes back or not, I definitely do it to try and raise the payroll of Alabama. At this point we have to do everything we can to get a competitive advantage.

Make them start paying as much as possible, maybe that means they are late upgrading facilities or not paying for the young, up and coming assistant.

You haven't been paying attention the last few years. Facilities? Check out the 60 Minutes segment that shows off the ungodly hydrotherapy pool and the anti gravity treadmills that go for about $75K each. Paying for the up and coming young assistant? Were you off climbing Everest when we through an obscene amount of money at Cochran to keep him from leaving with Smart? How about snapping up Sarkisian?

The notion that LSU would outspend Bama back to the stone age is pure comedy.

And we're not paying $13,000,000 in alimony.

LSU is in a COMPLETELY different place than it was when Saban took over before. There is no "mess" to clean up. There are a few coaches, Saban being one of them, that could win a championship with this team next year. If you can't see that, then you're even more retarded than I thought you were.
