Which is the Saturday the following week after the Egg Bowl.

Does that throw a wrench into all this?

The reason I asked is because of early signing day.
Also the playoffs would be almost a month before they played again the SEC Championship game is only a week after the Egg Bowl.

I'd think both sides want Kiffin in place prior to early signing day, which is next week. If it's not this weekend, I would start doubting its Kiffin.

I don’t think so.

OM wants clarity and won’t be thrilled to twist in the wind another week.

Plus both LSU and UF will want the new guy at least announced before early signing period.

If he doesn't sign this weekend, our next coach will be Saban.

I don't see Kiffin walking away from OM's first SEC Championship game. LSU fans won't like it, but pull for the Gumps and Aggie.

Georgia owns the head-to-head on Ole Miss.

If Texas and Auburn win we play in the title game(assuming we win the Egg Bowl) via opponent winning percentage vs UGA

Yes, but I believe if all of Ole Miss, Auburn and Texas win, it means a UGA vs OM SECCG.
