What does the rant think?

Guy won 9 games every year he was in Nebraska and got canned Richt style for not "winning the games that mattered".

Bit of a hot head, but he can coach.

Also
quote:

Our crowd. What a bunch of fricking fair-weather fricking—they can all kiss my arse out the fricking door. 'Cause the day is fricking coming now. We'll see what they can do when I'm fricking gone. I'm so fricking pissed off

The result, not much

Might be a good hire.

I would have loved to see his reaction if his Nebraska players went on strike

He's a slightly less angry, arguably more competent version of Boom.

Maybe - after the Iron Bowl - I don't know. My money is on Boom in an all out Anger Bowl - but Pelini would be right there - they're the clear #1 and #2 right now, with no clear candidate for #3.

(And they both were DC at LSU within the past 15 years )

He's way more competent than Muschamp.

I don't know their respective winning percentages - I would assume Pelini's to be higher. Regardless, he consistently won games at freaking Nebraska, whereas Boom couldn't win at Florida, a state with perhaps the most high school talent in the nation (certainly at the skill positions)

Just need DL and LBs

but mostly a competent balanced offense

Steele might be ok

don't get carried away, PeeBo's success came in the weak divsion of the b12 and big, and he took over while the program was still able to literally recruit itself off its reputation.

he might be a little better than champ, but "WAY MORE competent", yea maybe not.

The guy is a certifiable nutcase.

Boom seems like a pretty decent guy who can get animated on a sideline. Pelini seems like he has legitimate anger issues.

agree entirely, if you had to pick one for a neighbor it would be Boom any day over Pee.

I dunno, I bet Bo throws better parties. Especially when his brother is in town.

Pillini shoved GAs and came 3 inches from hitting a ref in the face. He bitched out his AD to his players also which really hurts.
