I think he stays, but only because he doesn't get an offer.

He is definitly going to stay because he already said he is not going to think about this till the season is over and ssince the last game of the season is in late January Michigan will not offer him because they would have lost a month in recruiting if the wait till late january to take him

I have a feeling he leaves. I don't know. I keep going back and forth on that.

I'm with you - if they offer, he bolts.

But lately, I have a stronger feeling that he won't be their first choice.

The reason I feel he will be the first choice is because he supposedly has some influential former players and maybe some boosters on his side pulling for him.

We know a lot of people will influence Bill Martin's decision. Plus, there is no coach out there, in my opinion, who would be more of a fit for that job.

Personally, I think they're going to really scheme this thing and play it right so it works out as clean for them as possible.

if lsu makes the NC game, he stays. if there's a loss in one of the next two games, he leaves. bad timing for les and UM.

If this were a more normal situation I would say gone, easy call.

But it's not. Carr jumped the gun on announcing and there is waaayyy too much time that this will linger around. I say Michigan fumbles the entire situation and pisses Les off.

Les Stays.

Michigan never offers. Les stays. Rantards immediately start bitching about needing a new coach.

Stays.

Michigan will go after someone else. Timing is all wrong. Sucks for Les, but remaining the head coach at LSU is a nice consolation prize.
