I for one am jumping off of this coaching roller coaster. Nobody knows what will happen over the next 8-10 weeks, and to try and guess who will be LSU's next coach is really a shot in the dark. LSU will not be the only powerhouse looking to hire a new coach. While Texas and USC are currently struggling, there may be more teams that crap the bed before the end of the season and fire their coach. Why not sit back and enjoy the season? Whomever LSU hires, there will be some who hate the hire, and some that love it, but I think right now, every LSU fan needs to come together and support our team, because LSU still has a lot to play for. Geaux Tigers!

Have an upvote sir. The guessing who's going to be the next coach has gotten tiresome now. Like you said, let's all just get behind our current staff and players and ride this thing out. HOLD THAT TIGER!

The main thought is this...Miles is gone, LSU football has been liberated, and it played like so on Saturday.
LSU will be in its best shape in years when the new hire is made, there's no doubt about it.

However, we are learning that lsu has options. It's not all in for herman. There's Jimbo, there's potential for Ed O with a good o.c., and I'm sure, before the hire is made, there will be some more very good options rather it be n.f.l. guys, other college guys that emerge, etc.
People will try to poop on Ed O as an option. If he performs well with say only one more L. Then his record at usc and lsu will look pretty attractive. Combine that with his recruiting, I would not underestimate that hire.
Clemson sure isn't sady they promoted their interim coach in sweeny.

I know a huge majority of the fan base wants Herman or Jimbo, but if this teams goes 6-2, 7-1 or 8-0... Ed O deserves the head coaching position plain and simple. I don't know why so many people shite on that idea.
