All in on Lane. His representation reached out to LSU after the Kelly firing to share interest in the job.

I’m convinced that even after the new coach is officially announced, we are still going to have these clowns starting threads like “would Saban come back as Director of Football Ops?” or “Could we hire Saban as Associate AD?”

They are embarrassing like a jilted lover that just can’t fricking let it go.

Hey Genius, it's fan base's (not bases') intelligence since you're speaking of indictments! One fan base in the possessive case to be exact. Humility is a virtue you need to pray for, sir!

Freeman is also someone to watch. Smaller chance of coming but a coach who expressed interest in coming here.

This is the most interesting part to me. I’m amazed how many people on here don’t have much interest in a coach that was in the title game last year and beat UGA on the way there. Freeman would be a great hire and the ND connection with Kelly is meaningless in reality.

Well that’s apparently wrong too unless where I seen it from was full of shite. Becuase I’ve seen where LSU is offering Lane more that UF is at the moment. Idk how much exactly but they said as it stands, LSU has made the biggest offer.

There is a chance Saban comes back. I think we would be the only school he would consider. But if he was coming back, why wouldn't LSU just hire him now? He is not coaching now so no contract or season to finish. He could start recruiting and planning to bring in transfers.

I was told Saban was offered $20 million per year for 3 years and would become the AD after 3 years.

He turned it down. Said “I make $13 million now.”
