Bryant, Daryl Royal and Woody Hayes with a few more SECCG win and a BCS win...

Agreed. I think his personality is a perfect match for LSU! Geaux Miles!

Miles already has more NC and bowl wins than Schembechler.

Cholly Mac 2.0, brah. New and improved model with same love he has learned to know for the Ole War Skule. Same fickle fanbase.
How fitting that Miles is speaking to AFCA today since Cholly Mac was President and Exec Directory of AFCA.
Somewhere in heaven, Cholly Mac is smiling today and hopes Les is here for many, many years.

agreed one more title and a couple or 3 more SECC and he'll be the best ever by a pretty wide margin. he could have a 12 year career here in an era that it's pretty unheard of to last that long at any school. I'm behind him and my tigers 100%. We're gonna rock their faces off next year

Makes sense that Miles is speaking to AFCA today since Cholly Mac was President of AFCA.

I almost feel sorry for everyone next year. Miles has another "damn strong football team" and he will be rocking them out in search of another crystal ball.

Cuz he is good or cuz LSU is stuck with him?

He already has a trademark

Only if he were 12 years younger. Those guys coached 25 years or so.

yes

If he stays six more years and wins 1 or 2 more BCS titles and 2 or 3 more SEC titles, he would go down as an all time great and LSU's best by a wide margin. I don't think that is impossible. Maybe not likely, but not impossible.

14 more years. 3 more national titles. 6 SEC titles... Can we then call Les an "LSU" man?

Did anyone else hear that Miles's number of 11-win seasons in the SEC (4) is only matched by 2 coaches...........Bryant and Fulmer.
I think that's the correct stat. Or was it 11-win season ratio (4 of 6)?

let's try having a one-loss or less season first before we anoint two-loss-Les as the next elite college coach.
or, at least, let's see some improvement in the areas of game/play clock mgmt, overall offensive line, WR catching, DB tackling, going conservative on the gameplan against tougher competition before we anoint two-loss-Les
