Leipold extends with Kansas

if I'm Leipold at age 58, i'm staying at kansas forever. kansas will always be a basketball school first. plus, there's a lot less pressure here than at other schools, and if he just gets to bowl games consistently, they'll build him a statue

Deserved or not, I think the bloom came off his rose after losing 5 of their last 6 (likely 6 of their last 7 after this weekend).
Everyone just assumed early in the season that he’d be the target of a bidding war between Wisconsin and Nebraska. Wisconsin ended up giving Leonhard the full time gig. Who knows what Nebraska ends up doing.

Agree. He’s making a lot of money to coach at a basketball school with a historically low bar for the football program. Pretty cushy gig for someone almost 60.
