I'm just excited that Lanning was mentioned again. Would be my #1 choice. I also would be happy with Lane, and would not melt over Riley or Drink

Kiffin is a long shot. LSU needs to focus on the next 3 targets now and not let this drag out until after the playoffs.

Idk why some of you have this attachment to Saban. Maybe he has a soft spot for LSU, I don’t doubt it, but helping LSU with a coaching search is business. He won’t do that while on payroll at Bama, so just stop falling for this garbage.

What are the true odds of Lane being here? I hope I am wrong but less than 30%.
Sexton will make it open bidding and crazy terms and Lane has yet to really win anything on his own.

Saban was spoken to but said he liked where he was..helping with Lane but I still believe talks with Dillingham continue as well

It's amazing how many so called insiders come out of the works whenever we have a coaching search, and not a damn one of them has EVER predicted the hire correctly. I don't know how many times it has to be demonstrated that there are no insiders on this board, but people claim we're close to hiring a Saban or Kiffin and people continue to lap it up.
