Nobody knows what is going on in our coaching search. The fans aren't be told anything. Archie and Mike are being real quiet. Only thing we can go on is speculation by beat writers and stuff. Hell their stuff might not even be true.

A lot keep saying Fedora. But then you have some saying Smart has gained a lot of interest in the job.
I'm still going by my friend's comment that Smart will be our head coach. He hasn't been wrong yet on his information with Ole Miss stuff. So I'm holding him to that.

I wonder have Archie and Glenn had to sort of shuffle the deck and expand the list with these recent firings and I am not sure it's done. It would be foolish to fire someone this late but it's a strange year. I don't recall there ever being a year like this in college football.

It wouldn't surprise me if Archie and Glenn got a left field hire....someone that wasn't even on our hotboard. But I just doubt that would happen.

I'm not really worried about it, I know we won't hit a "home run" with this hire. I'm more tired of everyone else worrying about it and asking about it everytime I see someone. Like, "hey Drew, who ya'll gonna hire?" How am I supposed to know? I subscribe to the Spirit just like the next guy can...

The biggest mistake Boone made was not firing Cutcliffe. It was firing Cutcliffe without having a solid replacement already in the bag. We all know how that ended up.
I cannot believe they would walk the same road again, but it looks like they have. Our administration is the definition of incompetency.

I don't think this would be a good move. Getting off to a good start is important for a coach, and I can't see that happening at OM with the West like it is.
He's young. He should wait and start somewhere where he can definitely win some games.
