Im sure.Your right Ole Miss is the Crown Jewel of coaching jobs.He hopes he's lucky enough to get an offer.Feels honored that his name is in consideration.

Wake-up frickers it's not 1958.Your job is not that appealing

Well one coach has already pulled his name from consideration of the Ole Miss head coaching vacancy. Kirby Smart was not his name. You explain that one?

HottyToddy, pics of your niece. Internet rule #1.

And yeah, bias aside, A&M is probably the more appealing job. The only thing Ole Miss could do is throw lots of monies at him. We are stretched thing but losing costs more than paying a winner to win.

You're right. It's a terrible job. No one should consider it.

Without a doubt. But to this point Sherman still has a job and we have been searing for the past few weeks. If Smart had no interest then Saban would have never made the comments about it and Smart would have come out and denied the claims. They are in a NC hunt and don't need any unneeded distractions. It is Smart's non action that keeps me hopeful that we can land him.

I asked if he was interested in the Ole Miss job. This is what I was told.I don't care if you believe me or not.The only other time I mentioned the ex UGA boys was when Bobo talked about how good the freshman QB Murray was going to be.That was last yr preseason.Check my history it's in there.

Were you told this by Kirby Smart himself? Did he say this to your face?

You're going to critique someone's spelling, but yet you don't put spaces after periods or write in complete sentences.

I'm not Nostradamus. I'm DC Rebel. (Terrible job of punctuating, hidolladawgs.) (And terrible job of recognizing that I wrote "Nostradamuses," the "es" on the end serving to make the word "Nostradamus" plural.)

Yes I know it was plural.I don't think tigerdroppings has an Grammar/english board.Maybe all the Rebel fans should ask that they form one.Looks like y'all would have more to contribute on the grammar/english board than you do on the football board. BTW can u mark my run-on sentences and misplaced punctuation in red marker. That would really be helpful. Thanks so much.

It does. I'm the mod and I just banned you from it for life.

Get a grip. The whole "it's a sports board durrrr" argument does nothing but foster the stereotype of sports fans as being simpletons and dullards. I'm above that.

From all I have read it sounds like we are gonna get freeze. I think they told chuck to talk about how freeze is getting hotter and all these other schools want him. Blah blah blah. We will end up disappointed.

The only people that really know what's going down are the agents of these coaches- there the dealmakers. A lot happens behind the scenes and the coaches are brought an offer by the agent. Deal or no deal.

Not anyone on this board, no media outlets, etc.

Yet you're not above flaming about punctuation in a football post. This is a U problem.Get your priorities straight.Football>grammar on message boards about FOOTBALL.
