It's going to be tough for a non p5 school to hire Kiffin because of the money, how long he would last, and his history. The only way I see Kiffin getting a head coaching job is to continue being a very good OC and then going to a mid tier p5 school. The Houston situation pretty much sums up why smaller teams won't hire him.

The fact that Saban seems to be ready to cut bait with him is a red flag as well. I worry what happens when he's with a friend who likely won't hold him accountable to the extent Saban would.

Ironically freshwater has been at bama as long as Florida's OC and the guy who got the Houston job, combined. 1 of the other 3 saban oc's at bama has had an equal or longer tenure.

As I've posted elsewhere, we've got more than our share of twenty-one year old college student kids who get on message boards and say that Kiffin is a regular in every bar in Tuscaloosa...but in an era when a drunk college kid practically can't take a dump without posting a picture of it on social media, have you ever seen a photo of Kiffin in a bar?

Did it work? How about going back and looking at my original post, find a couple of brain cells to rub together, and then ask the question.
