Kiffin has proven to have an offense better than Riley’s and already proven he can compete in the sec. Hire the man

He can’t recruit super well though

I’m down for Kiffin but that’s the counter which is valid

So we just assemble a staff around him that can recruit Louisiana. Put proven guys around him and enjoy success

Kiffin is 76-41 as a HC in CFB. He was 5-15 in the NFL.

Kiffin is a fun follow. A very mediocre HC.

Jeff Lebby and Matt Corral are why that offense worked this year.

He’s also been at f’in Oklahoma from a proven coach when the program was already established. Lane took over Ole Miss. one of those is not like the other.

He also has the same record this year as Lincoln with a much much tougher schedule. It’s only year 2 in the toughest division in the toughest conference in football

Lane has been winning with Matt Luke’s leftovers, who somehow recruited a lot better than he has.

We’re not talking about an off class here. They are 13th in the SEC right now with a 10 win season in-hand. He is pinning having a functional team next year on killing it in the portal, because they lose everyone on offense. That is a huge red flag.

After watching that game last night I agree with you. Riley's play calling was not very good.

The problem you have with Kiffin is, he acts like a teenage kid and may do something stupid to get fired any day.

Aranda should be at the top of list. I think he is a better coach than Riley. Problem is he could very well make the playoffs with a Baylor win over OSU. The “professor” knows the formula needed at LSU.

I actually agree. Kiffin would have been my #1 hire.

Having said that, Riley was such a huge name, that nobody would argue.

If Riley is out, Kiffin is the right choice.

Kiffin will lose games because of his ego.

But why? Explain to me why he should be the top choice.

I know that Kiffin likes to go the prettier girl but what makes this board assume they can just up and hire Kiffin at a whim?

At this rate, I'd settle for him even though I'd get tired of his constant trolling until he stays here 2 years then leaves to greener pastures probably NFL. If you're going for Kiffin you should just attempt to throw the bank at CUM and maybe stinky pinky will come over.

What makes sense to you doesn't always make sense to a coach already winning while over here he'd have to rebuild a program.

This board needs to get off thinking they can just hire whoever they want, especially an SEC West rival coach. Even one who likes to flirt. Kiffin would be more likely to use LSU for a raise than to go here with his troll antics and weakening a direct SEC rival by taking their time up in a coaching search.

Kiffin would be a great hire but there are too many retards on here who believe otherwise. If you don’t let your emotions get in the way of making a decision then I think he’s objectively the best available candidate.

He’s already gotten a raise there bud. And the whole rebuilding a program narrative is such a ploy. Does A&M need rebuilding? Just beat them last night, does Arkansas? Few plays from winning that one. Alabama? In that one until the end. LSU needs some direction, rebuilt is an overstretch.

Kiffin has always been an amazing talent. Every job he had he was too young for. The guy learned the hard way at a couple of jobs, and then went to work for Saban. He has it figured out.

Kiffin at LSU would be a combination that would be VERY scary for everyone else.
