I was just thinking back to when LSU won the SEC in 2001, 2003, 2007 and 20011, and the last thing that I would have done is run to a message board of any other SEC team to post on their board about their OC hire.

Why is it odd? For the last week we have been told that the team we pull for's OC would be moving to our rivals team for the same position. Does that not constitute both teams discussing a coaching change?

LSU won the SEC in 2001,2003,2007 and 2011 and if I wasn't at the game,I was with friends and/or family and the last thing on my mind would have been to go to any message board to post about another teams OC hire.
Maybe that's just me.

Maybe because when LSU won four SEC Titles the past 15 years I was either at the game or with family and friends celebrating the victory.
I do understand that bama has many fans that have never been to the school or any game so maybe I just can't relate.

They are real fans even if they didn't attend as long as they are not bandwagon fans who jumped on in 2001 and off in 2011.
I have no problem with any real fans of any school.
I am more interested in what level of obsession leads one to post about any other team and their OC hire when their team just won the SEC.
Maybe it's just me. That's why I asked.

Let's see what Coach O does with the team. Anyway you slice it this will be a different team and I would rather CEO over Les (I know statisticaly the best coach at LSU)...sounds crazy but let's see what happens. I think you guys are going to see a very different LSU team. It's not going to be same old LSU. Get ready

Why not? Kirby and Georgia did it last year. I think Houston could afford to wait especially if the guy they are about to hire could be playing for a NC. Just pads his resume.

It would be one thing if it was LSU going after the Arizona offensive coordinator and Alabama fans were trolling it, but y'all are trying to lure ALABAMAS offensive coordinator away. Why is it weird that Alabama fans would join in on a conversation about a division rival trying to poach their coach?
