Who told you that? You're just setting the hook with that comment unless you can provide receipts.

The tie breaker for Kiffin vs. any other coach under serious consideration is the added benefit that you simultaneously knee-cap two SEC rivals, both Ole Miss and Florida.

Even hiring Dan Lanning or Marcus Freeman (both impossible) does nothing to undermine the existing SEC power structure. Hiring Heupel or Elko would do so, but neither seems possible. Hiring Clark Lea sinks Vanderbilt, but I have a hard time believing that Vandy is a long-term obstacle once Pavia departs. Drinkwitz sinks Missouri, but obviously Missouri is less of a traditional problem for LSU than Ole Miss.

Last night I was told... The governor of louisiana wants Kiffin. He watched the oklahoma game last weekend and the decision was made. He is going to do everything in his power to get him to campus

This is rediculous 10x

sadly it's probably true

Louisiana is different that is for sure

I really think this is just a knee jerk.Reaction.
The governor probably watched the old miss with some friends.. And he probably said, that's the guy I want. If kelly loses the night, I will fire him. Then lane will be our guy

Lane seems to be as good as his QB is

If he gets the QB he wants, he will be a problem

I think he’ll get his guy at LSU

But Kiffin might.

If we really offered Saban $25 million a year, we will get Kiffin to come for $15 million a year with extra investment in NIL. He says it’s not about money, but he knows damn well he has a price.

I love Kiffin. He's by far and away my #1. I absolutely love the confidence behind his offense.

I hope he loses a game soon so it's easier.

Correct. I thought about this earlier as well.

Kiffin would do quite well here. No doubt in my mind that he'd be successful.

He won't stay at Ole Miss if LSU offers him $12-$13M a year for 6 years with a Woody buyout. Woody is going to get Kiffin. I can feel it.

Kiffin is certainly the "big fish" of this coaching search cycle (similar to Lincoln Riley in the last one). He has a lot of up-side to hiring him.

I don't think he leaves Ole Miss right before they have a home game in the first round of the playoff. He won't be at Florida or LSU, IMHO.
