His defense was great against our attack and if it wasn't for Bo Nix being so bad they may have ruined our season because if it. I don't know why he gets alot of hate on here, but IMO he would be a good, safe hire.

We had 500+ yards and ran all over them in the second half. It was the one game where our red zone offense wasn’t slapping. He did have a good plan with the different fronts and pressures

I don't want him as DC. There are better options.

Yards dont win or lose games. Points do. And he was the only one that kept 2019 LSU damn near under 20 points. He deserves a look at least

I think the weather and our shite field plus bo nix really helped him. We made the decision that we weren’t going to let brown beat us on a stupid turnover.

Explain his recent coup attempt at Auburn sounds like Steele is more of a snake than anything, and really wasn’t that good of a DC at LSU. I was thrilled the first time he left after 1 year

Stop bringing this guy up jesus christ. Do you all just have a mental block at how badly he sucked at LSU when he was here? We had the worst defense in like a decade. Another dumbass like Bo who wouldn't adjust scheme to player strengths. You think he didn't chap the arse of some people in LSU's admin? You'd be sorely mistaken. He's also a head case.

We would've beat them by 20+ if not for the weather/field conditions, and they had an elite defensive line. We had to play really conservatively and smart on offense that game.
I respect what Steele has done since he left here. I wouldn't hate to see him return, but I'd rather explore some other options. We need a guy that's all in with something to prove - even if that means he moves on fairly quickly.

They might be better options from a staimdpoint of getting a younger staff for the future but there is not a better defensive coordinator available and that includes Freeman. Steele is right there n the conversation for best in the country

He was literally the DC here already and literally was worse than the guy before and after. And by the way the guy before is literally coaching middle school now.

Dude his first stint here was unimpressive, has his worst year at Auburn last year defensively, he's getting up there in age, also he bolted the first chance he got here. No fond memories of his year here
