Another clue to any of you still clinging to the idea that Woodward was surprised and scrambling by Riley going to USC.

Probably has more to do with Saturday being O’s last day

Which also has a lot to do with having a new HC in place. The original plan stated in the announcement press conference for O's firing was that O would stick around to coach the bowl game if necessary. Not necessary once you have the replacement ready.

Wow! Holy non sequitur Batman!

If anything having Kelly signed to start 2 days before O was done means we were that much farther out in front of this search than people realize.

I don’t know how you added 2+2 and got 1 but that’s impressive?

Wonder if that was the planned announcement that they decided to postpone until the CFP is announced until fan restlessness caused them to pivot back to an announcement?

I'm not sure you understand what a non sequitur is

I made a joke about getting Ed out the door as soon as possible after the final game

The rest of your post is literally that which does not follow. The headspace you seem to be in suggests a steady diet of paint chips

No…actually I don’t know that either of us has a diet of paint chips.

Nom-sequitur is Latin which translates to “that which does not connect, or non-sequential”

Your post about the end date of Ed’s contract has NOTHING to do with (this does not connect) to LSU scrambling for Kelly.

Sorry I had to explain that to you.

So in essence he actually quit at ND before he signed with LSU which means the AD at ND knew before anyone else, basically, that he was signing with LSU. Surely you can't be honoring two contracts at one time can you?

I'd assume this would be the case and his termination date with Notre Dame would be 11/28 as well.
