does anybody think that Texas tech tries to get june jones from SMU, Might be the one of the best offensive minds after mike leach and Chow

June Jones is a better Offensive mind than Leach.

i think june jones would do well, i also think it would help them not loose that many recruits, since he runs the same offense. i think if they pick somebody like tuberville they will loose many recruits

SMU Boosters pony up the money to keep Jones if it came down to it.
Texas Tech really needs more of a national hire after all of this drama to lessen the stain on the program.

Tubberville was on Dallas radio today saying that the Tech job is the one he wants. He was definitely throwing his hat into the ring.

i also dont see a much higher profile coach then jones that will wanna go to Tech after everthing is unfolded

IF he can keep that offense even close to what it is now, they will be good

Let a man have his dreams, okay?
RR hates Michigan, Michigan hates RR, TT needs a PR boost. Michigan lets RR out of his contract to go to TT and hires their man Miles.

rich rod has already had trouble with the NCAA this season, that would probaly give TT even more bad press

He just works them too hard, doesn't lock them in closets. That's a win for TT.

If they can get Sonny Dykes to be OC for Ruffin, they will be fine. But I think only way Sonny comes to town is to be HC. Spike will probably not push for anyone, since I think he has connection to both.

we will see what happens, i think they shouldnt even have to be in this situation in the first place
Posted on 12/31/09 at 7:04 pm to jrous19
Leach did it to himself though.

When he stepped to act as an Athletic Trainer, that is where he went to far. The ATC's also need to be taken to task for this also. I dont get why they havent been grilled.
Leach, any coach knows they arent qualified to "prescribe" treatment, so yes he went to far. We will never know what happend. But he also went to sue his employer, he knew that was going to be the reason for a firing. He would have been paid his money, been paid his bonuses etc if he doesnt go to file the injunction. He played a game of chicken and lost.
