Franklin was fired less than a year after making the semi final. Heupel won 8 games (zero quality wins) and they’re still pumping their chest after getting blown out at Ohio State

I'm not sure about heupel, but Todd mcshay said on bill simmons podcast that Jimmy sexton has been beating up Penn state for what they did to his boy Franklin. Turning coaches away, really impacting their coaching search.

I doubt it was directed at Penn State. He was probably just asked about high expectations in general.

They are Nebraska east.
My.entire family are Penn State fans so I've seen it firsthand.
They are going to rue the day they fired Franklin. This was their Solich moment and they will never be relevant again.
