There’s a lot of smoke that he was also very influential in Daniel’s growth from year one to year 2 and the offense’s evolution in general.
It’s very Joe Bradyesque.
I agree. I think we'll name Sloan as OC and hire another similar minded QB coach.

The reality is that we do not know how much influence Sloan had on the play calling this year, but I am sure Coach BK does. For now we just have to trust our Head Coach. Hopefully the defense will be turned back into what we all remember and love about LSU football.

Joe Brady went from a GA to NFL OC in two years. This isn’t the 1990s anymore when coordinators have 30+ years of experience
Especially when you consider how college football works today. It’s isn’t just the head coach, offensive staff and a couple of GAs anymore. We have a room full of analysts on each side of the ball for a reason. They are there to support the staff and it’s not uncommon to bring in guys who have experience as OCs or calling plays (possibly at lower levels or guys who have lost jobs and are looking to restart) to help the staff.
Also, if Sloan moves up to OC, you don’t necessarily have to hire a QB Coach to fill his spot. Maybe we bring in an experienced passing game coordinator to help with game planning and to fill out the playbook.

That would be redundant and a waste of a coaching position. If Sloan is promote to OC, he will remain the QB coach as well. Which I'm betting is what happens. Who coaches the TEs would be the question.

Seriously.
Sean McVay was an NFL head coach at 30. He’s still the youngest coach in the league six years later.

How many years did Joe Brady have? He’s currently the OC for the bills and is younger than 50% of this board
We can play that game all day.
How many years did Jake Peetz have?
